Just So You Know … what we covered this week
AM Only
- Monday: We reviewed the homework assignment for Lesson 5-1 from last week before moving into Lesson 5-3 (Angles of Triangles), focusing on finding missing angle measures in triangles.
- Tuesday: Making our way through the remainder of Monday's lesson, the class was given the lesson's assignment (listed in the 'Additional Practice' section below).
- Wednesday: Students needed additional time to finish Tuesday's assignment, so ample class time was given for students to complete it before reviewing the answers as a whole class.
- Thursday: For our last day of the school week, students were ready to move into Lesson 5-4 (Polygons and Angles). After discussing and using vocabulary, formulas, and doing some quick review and practice problems, students were given their homework assignment (listed in the 'Additional Practice' section below).
- Monday: Students completed a retake for the Chapter 4 Assessment (Functions). Then, the class was given the Chapter 5 Pretest, looking ahead to skills in the upcoming unit, and what the students already know and are capable of.
- Tuesday: After finishing the retake from Monday, we slightly moved forward to Lesson 5-1 (Lines), learning about different angle types when there is a set of parallel lines cut by one (or more) transversal (another line).
- Wednesday: We progressed forward into the rest of Tuesday's lesson before receiving the lesson's homework assignment (listed in the 'Additional Practice' section below).
- Thursday: Students needed additional time to finish Tuesday's assignment, so ample class time was given for students to complete it before reviewing the answers as a whole class.
